This means: brushing three times a day, avoiding gum, candy and hard foods, wearing elastics, wearing aligners as prescribed. Orthodontic treatment must be a priority to you. Please wear a mouthguard specifically for braces during all contact sports to prevent serious injury. Your effort in your orthodontic treatment will result in a custom, beautiful smile!
